Online poker giant, PokerStars, has unveiled the first details of one of its richest online poker tournament series, the Spring Championship of Online Poker 2020. And once again, it promises to be the operator’s most ambitious online tournament series in its 19-year history with guarantees totaling a staggering $85 million in prize money.The series guarantee is up $5 million from last year. It is with great regret that we’ve had to make the decision to postpone the PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC) 2020 and EPT Barcelona, due to be held at Casino Barcelona, Spain. Here at PokerStars, we really look forward to these events taking place and particularly so with the PSPC, which will now take place in in 2021. PokerStars offers many freerolls, but as of late, most of their tournaments are restricted in one way or another, with very few events truly open to all the players. This is a bit disappointing given the fact site used to host some really great freeroll events, but this seems to be in line with the new PokerStars policy. ‘Blowout Welcome Freeroll’ will take place on December 8, 2020 at 13:10 ET. To use the Blowout Welcome Freeroll Ticket, players need to log in to the client, find ‘Blowout Welcome Freeroll’ within the Tournaments search tool, and register for the tournament.

Road to PSPC tournaments are new PokerStars Live events, featuring lower buy-ins than traditional live tournaments, but with added Platinum Pass rewards to poker's biggest €22,500 buy-in event – the PokerStars Players NL Hold'em Championship (PSPC).
